It's a little stupid.

(Y'know, because it's a real boy's boy movie, or whatever. Lucretia grins, and sits up a little, retracting her legs from Magnus' space.)

But I know what you mean. And of course; circumstances aside, this is a tradition that absolutely needed to come back.

Heck yeah it did. And we can watch movies while we drink now! Seriously, this place is the best.

[...Okay, alright. It had gone unspoken that they would talk about Taako after the movie, so.]

I mean, I'm not like, devastated. It's just... [He rolls his eyes at himself as he talks. What a dumb thing to be upset about.] A bummer. Y'know.

[scholiast]

It's pretty good. If we had to be stuck somewhere, I suppose I'm glad that it's here.

(Her expression softens as he starts to talk; she reaches out to scrub her hand through his hair affectionately.)

Yeah, I getcha. It's okay to be sad about it Magnus, it isn't– uh, stupid, or pointless or anything. You feel what you feel.

[He rolls his eyes a little when Lucretia runs a hand through his hair, but he does so with a smile.]

You’re supposed to say that. You’re my mom.

[A sigh.] It just feels—I feel like I should get over it. I mean, I will get over it. It's not a big deal. But I should already be over it.

[scholiast]

(She rolls her eyes right back at him, and gives him a pinch on the ear before she pulls her hand back.)

And don't you forget it.

(If he's gonna be that way, she can be that way too!!)

You were over it, but you've brought it back up. Give yourself time. Like you said, you'll get over it.

Yeeeeah... [Shrug.] Yeah, I'll get over it. I just needed to whine.

[It's true—he seems satisfied by the amount of whining he's done tonight.]

Don't let me take up the whole night talking about my problems, though. How's Lucretia doin'?
