I liked having something to work on for a little while.

How long did it take you to write that? It was beautiful.

(She wishes, belatedly, that she had thought to record it... but on second thought, it's nice that the piece exists as it was only in that singular moment. Just for her, just for the two of them. Lucretia likes that thought a lot.)

About a week. Maybe a little longer. S'all I did for a while, pretty sure Taako was gonna go nuts.

[She smiles softly.]

I loved your face when I brought in the bag. What did you think I was gonna do?

Something intense. I wasn't technically wrong? But you're right, there was no explosion of any kind.

(She grins, sheepish.) A pleasant surprise.

So what you're saying is that I should bring explosions next time? Duly noted.

No... no, I didn't say anything of the sort, actually.

(She gives Lup a playful shove.) This all you been up to recently?

[She blows an obnoxious raspberry back at Lucretia before she smiles again.]

Pretty much. That and baking like.... a million cupcakes with Taako since he promised to make one for every child in Riverview.

[scholiast]

He what?

(She looks wildly amused, fighting to control laughter. Sounds like somebody lost a bet.) I didn't know he was such a philanthropist.
