[It takes a lot for him to send this text. He rewrites it a handful of times, nearly throws his phone at the wall in anger and frustration, but finally settles on something.

Because this is important, because they need to talk to Magnus, and unfortunately, Lucretia now has the same information Taako has, maybe more, about what she used Junior to do to all of them. He's not doing this for Lucretia, he's doing it for Magnus, so he knows everything there is to know.]

You should come with me when I talk to Magnus.

(The text nearly makes her drop her phone: Taako's the last person she expected to hear from. She's begrudgingly impressed that he reached out at all: this must have been quite difficult for him for him to send.)

That's a good idea. We should probably figure out what we're going to say to him too. Though– I can't decide which is more intimidating: being too well rehearsed, or just figuring it out spur of the moment.

Hmmm I dunno, kind of shifts the focus a little bit but we can workshop it. There are some good ideas in there.

What would you say?

Anything along the lines of what we had planned. That the ichor would allow access to things he had forgotten, but that he may not like what he remembers. That we won't force him into anything if he doesn't want to drink.

And if he refuses, we leave, I guess.

(She wonders dully if Magnus will be affected by her appearance at all. Hopefully it won't distract him or anything.)

Should I do that shitty thing where you text someone with "we need to talk" or do I invite him out for coffee and we spring it on him?
