INBOX text / audio / video / action Hi, Lucretia speaking. I'm busy at the moment, but if you'd like to leave a message, I'll get back to you ASAP. art creditcode credit
Hey, actually- would I be able to ask you some questions for that? It's, um, a personal project about the way various magic users here conduct their craft...
(Something seems to occur to her suddenly, and she nearly knocks her mug over as she reaches for her journal on her bedside table to write something down on a fresh page. It's nearly full.)
I think it's for the best if I never know what Taako's thinking.
(When Lup gets home she's just in time to find Lucretia doodling absentmindedly in her journal, one foot tapping to unheard music: at the sound of her door opening, she looks up, and rolls her eyes in greeting.)
Oh, that's quite sensible, actually. Maybe I should get something a little more presentable, too. (She's in her sensible jeans and t-shirt combo as per usual, but hey. She's comfy!)
(The Taaco twins have always had full reign of her everything, to be honest. Lucretia shifts over to give her more space, and taps the cover of her journal with her fingers.)
Cool. Um, well. I mean, most of my notes are at work, so I can't really show you everything, but you can always stop by my office some day if you like.

I mean, yeahβ I'd love to walk you through ny current work project. But would you really be able to sit still and listen for that long?
no subject
...well, yeah. If it's you I'd give it a shot, at least.
no subject
I'm only kidding. You don't have to sit through a lecture, Lup, I can do a cliff notes version.

[It felt really nice and normal to see Lucretia write, notes and journals and words all over.]

(She snaps her book shut, and gives Lup a crooked little grin.)
I'm so glad we're living together again, Lup. I can never find Taako's secret stashes.
no subject
You just gotta know how he's thinking! I'll be back in a moment, okay?
[Then she shuts the phone off for a while, pays for her clothes and heads back home.
Stepping inside, she drops her bag of clothes on the floor and goes to find her favorite book dragon.]
Hi, nerd!

(When Lup gets home she's just in time to find Lucretia doodling absentmindedly in her journal, one foot tapping to unheard music: at the sound of her door opening, she looks up, and rolls her eyes in greeting.)
Rude. How was your shopping trip?
no subject
Pretty damn nice, right? Here, i got some stuff for you as well.
[She hurries back to grab the bag and then heads over to Lucretia again, pulling out the two shirts she showed before, as well as an other one.]
We'll match!
no subject
The shirt makes her snort.)
Uh, surely reading should never be lit? But thank you, Lup.
no subject
See? Totally lit.
[She picks up the last piece of clothing in the bag, unfolding it with a bright smile.]
This was fucking expensive but it's perfect.
no subject
That's gorgeous, Lup. For anything in particular?
no subject
[Lup twirls the dress around with a grin.]
Nah, I saw it and I knew I had to get it. This place is party central, and one day there's gonna be one that's not sweaty dancing and booze-related.
no subject
(She can't be bothered.)
Oh, that's quite sensible, actually. Maybe I should get something a little more presentable, too. (She's in her sensible jeans and t-shirt combo as per usual, but hey. She's comfy!)
no subject
[No you don't, Lup.]
I should show you the store I was in, they had some nice dresses there. Without slogans.
[The Taako twins apparently have full reign of her bed, as Lup plops down on it.]
Now I think I'm ready to give you my full attention.

(The Taaco twins have always had full reign of her everything, to be honest. Lucretia shifts over to give her more space, and taps the cover of her journal with her fingers.)
Cool. Um, well. I mean, most of my notes are at work, so I can't really show you everything, but you can always stop by my office some day if you like.
no subject
I was gonna head there eventually to check it out, so you can show me all your stuff.
no subject
Alright! It's still a work in progress, but the time I'm finished I should have a small compendium about the different types of magics performed here.
no subject
That's pretty dope. There's gotta be so much.
no subject
I've nearly finished surveying my coworkers... and I'm teaching somebody how to use magic and taking notes on that, too.

(He's over two thousand years old.)
As of just the other day, he now knows prestidigitation.
no subject
[She taps her chin a bit.]
... there are two brothers here that do some strange version of transmutation that they don't even consider to be magic.
no subject
(Maybe that will go on the to-do list. Who knows.)
... Huh. Have you spoken to them about it?
